Henry snorted a little, leaning on the outside of the counter so that Goodnight and Billy would still have their space. His cheeks had gone a little pink at the quick redirection of the conversation; he breathed out a laugh.
"I took some of your advice," Henry proclaimed, "and attempted a little boldness. It's my turn to pick the date next, apparently."
