Adam snorted and elbowed Ronan in the side. "The only Carruthers party you'd go to is one where you fight him for my honor," he said, remembering their discussion at prom. Tad Carruthers was typical Aglionby in the insufferably moneyed way that no one could accept in this apartment. Henry, at least, was also an outlier even if it was in a way that didn't mesh with the rest of them.
