Ronan nods because he knows that much, too. It's about the only thing that's kept Ronan from killing Kavinsky with his bare hands, the idea that he hadn't succeeded. It doesn't make him trust the shitstain any, but it's something.
Then again, maybe there's a reason Ronan's let him live.
"If he does, I want a front row seat," Ronan remarks. There's no smile on his face, no hint that he might be joking in any way. He tips his chin up then, looking at Cheng with narrowed eyes. "This gonna be our bonding moment? Agreeing that Kavinsky is human trash?"
